Mark Poss

I have been painting for over 30 years and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Finance and minor in Art History and attended the Graduated School of Art History at the University of Texas with an emphasis on Landscape Art. When not of a specific site, the paintings are melding of real and imagined locales and the artistic influences: Inness, Corot and 17th century Dutch landscape paintings. The abstracts are a relatively new addition to the collection. Why? Because it's fun.
